🏖️ Es Trenc
South CoastThe most beautiful natural beach on the island. 3 km of powder-white sand backed by dunes and pines, with no hotels or development in sight. The water is Caribbean-clear. Go early in summer — it fills up fast.
🏖️ Cala Agulla
East CoastWide, sheltered bay near Capdepera with fine white sand and pine forests leading to the beach. Popular but never feels overcrowded. Crystal-clear water, sunbed hire and a beach bar. One of the most consistently beautiful beaches on the island.
🏖️ Platja de Formentor
NorthOn the wild Cap de Formentor peninsula, this is arguably Majorca's most dramatic beach. Turquoise water, steep pine-clad cliffs and a historic 5-star hotel as backdrop. Access is by ferry from Port de Pollença in summer (road is restricted).
🏖️ Cala Mondragó
SoutheastA protected natural park with two connected sandy coves. Snorkelling is excellent here — sea grass meadows and colourful fish. Low development, clear water and easy parking. Part of the Mondragó natural park.
🏖️ Playa de Muro
NorthA 6 km arc of white sand on the Bay of Alcudia. Calm, shallow and family-perfect. S'Albufera nature reserve sits at the southern end. The turquoise colour of the water here is genuinely spectacular.
🏖️ Cala Llombards
South CoastA small, sheltered and picturesque cove near Santanyí. Warm, calm water in a rocky bay with a handful of boats. No big hotels — just a couple of beach bars. Best visited on a weekday.
