Our Recommendations

🌿 Best Overall: May & September

Warm enough to swim, beaches are far less crowded and accommodation costs significantly less. The island is genuinely more enjoyable to explore.

☀️ Peak: July & August

Hot, busy and expensive. That said, August is also magical: beach clubs in full swing, boat trips everywhere and the island at its most vibrant. Book hotels 4–6 months ahead.

🚵 Hidden Gem: March & April

Almond and wildflower season. Perfect for cycling in the Tramuntana, hiking and cultural tourism in Palma. Very few tourists. Many hotels offer excellent off-season rates.

⚠️ August warning: book well in advance

Majorca receives over 13 million tourists in July and August combined. Flights and hotels sell out months in advance. If you want to visit in peak summer, start looking at accommodation 4–6 months ahead. September is the smarter choice — 26°C, sea at 25°C, and far fewer crowds.
